The 1st edition of this website included the first two
On-line Guides
of individual tourism service providers in Namibia.On-line guides each contain comprehensive info and marketing material of the tourism business concerned and serve the following purposes - in line with our commitment to support sustainable tourism activities in Namibia: - as product manual - as working tool for international trade partners; - as information tool for potential customers; - to reduce the production of printed promotion materials (= eco-friendly), the cost of doing business in/with Namibia (= containing inflation), and error margins in sales due to vague/unclear/outdated printed publications (= satisfying info requirements BEFORE customers arrive in Namibia) - to increase Namibia's competitiveness on international markets through the use of Internet Tourism Marketing, which allows spreading large amounts of information worldwide and keeping them up-to-date, fast and "green"; - to improve public knowledge of Namibia, its tourist services and products, its tourism industry in general, and to improve communications between Namibian suppliers and their international clientele overall, by making maximum use of modern low-cost information technologies. |

Namibia-Unlimited.com grew by many pages over the previous
months. The first phase of launch preparations is nearing
completion. All REGIONS OF NAMIBIA are now featured, each on its own page, and an INTRODUCTION TO REGIONS & TOWNS was added. The INDEX PAGE was revamped to provide Quick Links to the most important site sections. A 2nd index listing all chapters and their topics as well as links to all related pages now serves as an easy-to-use CONTENT GUIDE and site map. A new section was dedicated to supporting Namibian Tourist Service Providers in making the best possible choices about their promotional activities. Apart from the Marketing-Advertising-Promotion Options available from Namibia-Unlimited.com, it will feature selected businesses that specialise in tourism publications, tourism marketing, brochure printing & distributions, and support services regarding goods & advice. |
