Sam's Giardino - Facts & Facilities: Specialties

Well, in some respects we are an accommodation service provider, - a Hotel-Pension to be precise -, like many others in Namibia. Guests will find clean and comfortable rooms to sleep in, something nice to eat for breakfast, in-between, and for dinner; a variety of beverages; and all those conveniences and services that today's experienced globetrotters commonly expect in return for paying the prices typically charged in our accommodation category.

Here are just a few things we do differently - more of these and photos to follow:

ROOMS ... beds of extra-length, 2m; super-light duvets from pure down-feathers; bed covers from mainly cotton materials; very modern showers in bathrooms (some of them with rain shower heads); plenty of travel magazines; individually controllable bed-side lamps.
FOOD & BEVERAGES ... much of what goes into our varied meals is either home-made, grown in our garden, or freshly bought - and THAT makes great differences to the taste buds; coffee, tea, and filtered water are available free of charge all day on a self-service basis; we sell almost all of our wine BY THE GLASS - no need to buy a bottle just for a single Sundowner Drink!
SERVICE ... we keep training our staff in all areas and assist in obtaining qualifications; no one works overtime (except from the boss); we have medical aid, pension fund & salary increase schemes in place; only 3 employee left us in 12 years - our guests see, feel, and experience the difference we make in service quality every day!

What sets us apart though is the fact that we like to give things a little "twist", if not two. The success we enjoyed over the last decade or so, even in years other members of the Namibian tourism industry found particularly challenging, is a clear indication that we are on the right track with our Giardino Specialities.
Our guests will not only be able to continue enjoying those above-average extras but our many repeat visitors will notice the ongoing improvements we make around the Giardino from one stay to the next.
