Tour Highlights – Part 6:
Springbok in South Africa’s Northern Cape Province is known as the town of diamonds, copper, and spring flowers. It is also the last outpost of urban civilisation on our ‘Cape-Namibia Explorer’ 4x4 safari, before we enter the Richtersveld and cross the Gariep River to proceed north through Namibia’s desert landscapes. Springbok may not look like much at a first glance but it has got a most interesting history, scenic Namaqualand surroundings, and inhabitants whose majority share a unique cultural background! The Kalahari unjustly often takes second place in the minds of those who did not yet experience its many different facets, divers landscapes, and abundance of wildlife.
Come join us on a journey of discovery through the south-western parts of the Kalahari that dominates a large portion of Southern Africa and the lives of many people.
